...if one reads between the lines we're left with: The e3 trailer 2 years ago was simply magical. But don't get too happy yet because all we've heard are excerpts from Phil and some rumours on the boards. Absolutely not one shred of evidence of how this game loods yet which personally bothers me, because I love KZI and need more material from this new rendition to really get me stoked. Now, I'm one of those that's probably going to love the game anyway, but -- My hopes for graphical magic...
cracks me up. Spend, spend, spend! And this "spending" bothers you......because....it's affecting you.....how....???
**a/w...this is a hell of a lot cheaper than the route they were taking which was - not having it at all, only to season the lame a$$ excuse with a lame a$$ reason - but 150 million to include good 'ol Dualshock - ish rumble? Only now with the cool motion sensing-feature.....150 million in the scheme of things (poor launch, a batch of defective batter...
KZI was maligned by a horrible description (not of it's own) as a Halo Killer. Please realize that this game has nothing to do with Halo nor did it ever aspire to be such. Also the game was too unstable for the PS2 hardware and the online play suffered from glitches and slowdown unlike the R:FOM online play. These hindrances kept it from a higher initial score, but if you go to Gamespot you'll see the Reader Reviews are at a solid 8.5 to 8.6 rating which is damn good for a game that was ra...
you invented video games too, and I bet Al Gore had you as his secret weapon while you two were inventing the internet right? Just keep repeating your mantra so that you and the rest of your Picadilly Circus continue to be amused. BTW - if you work for Ninty why would you let your son dog it so bad? Doesn't that bode bad for you and your co-workers? What are you doing to make the wii seem less 'kiddy?"
Are you looking to switch game companies for which you work? If yo...
that other than the 1,000 older titles you own (I'm sure) that are playable, you still won't be able to play the thousands of others come launch. Meh, it doesn't matter a/w since you don't have a PS3. Why would you really give a rat's a$$? At least SNE believes that BC matters.lol

the Gran Turismo HD demo looks better than PGR3 even with one track. And there's nothing on the 360 in this genre that looks as good as Motorstorm does. It's funny I feel like I'm defending Gears of War here, but Motorstorm's eight tracks have various modes which will allow you to set up specialized races based on things like vehicle types. Also the a couple of the tracks are Nurburgring - ish in size and although repetitive will take some skill to master and consistently come in on top wi...
means that the content and capabilities of the system stay in a fluid progression -- forward. Sure they, can be annoying if you've got a group of people over and you haven't done the required update, but other thatn that -- what's the big deal? At least I know these people are actively working to make my gaming and media experience on the PS3 the latest and greatest it can be.
I say upgrade, upgrade, upgrade and more upgrading. Continue to remind me why I waited in the fre...
that's exactly right. All of this silence is doing nothing but adding to the amount of skepticism if not all out doubt regarding the graphics and gameplay of this monster title. I can understand Guerilla/SNE not wanting to "tip their hands too early" or let anyone down, but damn - give us something to critique = feedback = innovation before launch = better experience = more return for the pub/dev. Am I missing something here?
Anyway I hope my cynism is put to res...
but a 4.5 editor's choice is damn good.
--"And please no excuses. It is what it is. A nice addition to my ps3. Along with Virtua Fighter. Though I can't wait for the 360 release so I can play my friends on xbox live."
What difference would it make if you could play them on XBOXlive or not if they don't all have the game. Oh yeah that's right - you don't have any friends on the PSN because you're friend is using his PS3 of which you took a photo. I'm on ...
the KILLZONE franchise if nothing else but rumour and innuendo driven is really starting to whip up a considerable buzz. Even for a KILLZONE die-hard like myself who thoroughly enjoyed the original PS2 KZ (and don't forget the musical score -- absolutely brilliant), I think this game is getting way too much hype if it dsoesn't deliver. When they say "exceeding" what was shown two years ago....they are setting the bar at a really high setting. Like I've stated before right here on...
"soaring" because SCEI is staging to equip all rumble-axis controllers with Immersion's technology. Some would call it - money the bank. =]
I've never been a huge ratchet fan but Insomniac got my attention big time with Resistance. That game is something else. I can honestly say that if the screens look like this and knowing all the people that love this series, it will compel me to buy the game. Anyone notice the Chimera - ish treatment the guy's got (in the entrance) on the third screen? Sweet.
Keep it up PS.
you and I both know that SNE is not going to apologize for anything. This is a Titanic battle to the death between the largesse of these two bohemoths [MS, SNE]. Believe me, they're not ever apologizing (both have things to apologize for mind you) because it would show weakness. They'll come out with some excuse like...... "after further research we have found the harmonic balance between rumble and motion sens. at a cost effective range blah ____ ...blah.." They'll never admit ...
you're absolutely right. I just wish that the program of shutting someone up was just tweaked a little here and there to make it more legitimate. That's all.
Korbeaner - consider it done!!!

There is a serious paradigm shift in this country which has taken over since the late eighties in emphasizing the MTV, ESPN, JACKASS, Pam Anderson, Hiltonized, Stock Market bubbled, Fashion Policed, Glamour shot producing nature of our wonderful culture here in America. I don't agree with waht this guy says btw, but I do agree with you guys in that if we're going to get serious about education, then it needs to start from the top down, not the other way around. It's not like everything is p...
shadowgamer. Succinct, brilliant response. But BigDDDave this is a great find.
btw, Jin Kizama if you're reading this -- my tag online is my name here; just put an underscore in between. or just pm me man. We can hit the rooftops of Manchester first before motorstorm drops.
spent trapped in my living room. Damn.
you're a real piece of work... I was shocked thinking that you were actually trying to say you were some sort of PS fan with -- "Sure I believe Sony has made some big mistakes this time with the Ps3...and we as consumers pay with the lack of AAA games right now...But they are not out....I...along with about 1.5 million ps3 fans...are waiting patiently for that ONE big game that we can enjoy." --
But should've known better when you followed it up with...
succinct and to the point. Man this is like a really good day or something. I'm sorry but I've got to pull a Jin Kizama move here and say: This is Living® lol what a day.....wow
EDIT>> Kingboy I guess that's why they told Splitfish to hit the bricks, eh? Sneaky bastards knew they were getting it back all along.
you summed that up rather swimmingly I might add; considering you're the the only XBox360 owner on the planet that really matters (sarcasm). Oh I get it...you and Moore secretly hatched this plan yourself to say that BC wasn' t that important for XBox1 owners, right? I'm sure the legions of XBox 1 owners that were told they don't care about the investments they made before surely could care less when MS crates a new Box and dumps you all again (or at least protests that you don't care about ...
